  1. Behind The Scenes Tour: 18th Annual Haunted Trails

    October 20, 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM @ Crown Valley Park

    In the daylight we will offer a chance to view the event without all the frights! Photo opportunities will be available, allowing visitors to experience the inside of the castle walls, without all of the creatures who will be standing instead of roaming the halls. Parking is limited due to Crown Valley Park construction.

  2. 18th Annual Haunted Trails

    October 20, 6:30 PM - 10:00 PM @ Crown Valley Park

    Deep in the valley there is a special Crown, which is guarded by dragons and buried within the compound. The Knights of Temptation guard the castle walls, while thieves and treasure seekers search within the halls. Dare if you will to walk the Haunted Trails experiencing medieval life and all of its tales. When the sun sets, the trails will open and guides will escort groups of 10 guests through the castle halls and tents. This event is VERY SCARY and not recommended for children under 8 years old. There is a NO REFUND policy, and parents should determine if this is an age appropriate event. Inside the castle walls will be scary music, fog machines, black lights, strobe lights, and wailing wenches! Wristbands will be on sale at Crown Valley Park Registration office starting Mon., Oct. 15. We cannot replace lost wristbands. Parking is limited due to Crown Valley Park construction. Shuttle from City Hall (30111 Crown Valley Pkwy): Oct 18, 6-9pm. Oct 19, 6-10:15pm; Oct. 20, 6-10:15pm.

  1. What Your Teens Don't Want You to Know: Exploring the Trends in Unhealthy Adolescent Relationships

    October 24, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ City Hall Community Room

    Studies have shown that 1 in 3 teenagers in the U.S. experience some form of teen dating violence, and a recent study by Chapman University indicated that Orange County has twice the national average. Laura's House presents this forum designed to give an in-depth look into teen dating violence, the various forms it can take, the red flags parents can identify while their teens are in a dating relationship, and resources available to help protect teens. Moderated by Veronica Stephens, Laura's House Community Education Specialist. Panel members: Jennifer Ponce, Laura's House Prevention & Education Manager; Dr. Lemuel Day, Professor at Chapman University; Jeanette Boyle, Health Teacher at Dana Hills High School; and Ashley, Advocate & Survivor of Teen Dating Violence. Open to all parents, students, educators and community members.
